It is with great sadness that the family of Harold L. "Squeeky" Davis, announce his passing at the age of 81, in Sagle, Idaho, on March 18, 2018. He was born on December 20, 1936, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, and graduated from Salinas High school and Hartinal College, both in California. He married the love of his life, Joan Marie Turner, on November 19, 1961, and they were blessed with 56 years of marriage and three children; Melody (Mike) DeMers, of Oldtown, Idaho, Casey (Matt) Linscott, of Sagle, Idaho, and Tom (Lori) Davis, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. He will also be lovingly remembered by his five grandchildren, Tyler DeMers, Tessa DeMers, Janae (Derrick) Peterson, Zac Linscott, and Cade White, and one great-grandchild, Luke Matthew Peterson. Also, by his sisters, Reba Elkins, and Carlene Larsen, brother, Larry Davis, and numerous nieces and nephews. Squeeky is fondly remembered for owning and operating "Squeeky's Welding", Mini-storage and U-Haul, in Kootenai, Idaho, from 1969 thru 1999. He was the "go-to" man that every happy customer went to for making and installing snowplows, trailers of any kind, and fabricating anything and everything that was requested from him. He had the heart of an angel and could never say "No". He also raced stock cars for many years at the old circle racetrack in Colburn. At a young age, Squeeky was diagnosed with polio, and was taken under care by Shriner's Hospital. He was so grateful that they saved his leg (and his life), that he always donated all of his race winnings to the Shriner's Hospital, and continued to donate to them through his life. Other interests that he enjoyed, were Snowmobiling, Golfing, 4-Wheeling, and most recently RV-ing with his RV group(s). He had such a love for life, meeting new people, and always taking the time to share a story, or two, or three........... At his request, there will be a "Celebration of Life", in lieu of services. Squeeky's celebration will take place on June 30th, at his residence on Monarch Road. Memorial Donations in memory of Harold "Squeeky”, may be made to the Shriner's Hospital, http://www.shrinershospitals.org/donate.
