Jerry Lee Resso

Jerry Lee Resso, 58, passed away in Coeur d'Alene, ID on June 6, 2019.

Memorial services for friends and family will take place August 24, 2019 at 4:00 pm at the residence of Karen Resso, 1126 Gypsy Bay Rd, Sagle ID. A private family burial will take place the following day.

Jerry was born on August 22, 1960, in Mobile, Alabama, to Robert Lee and Lluese L. Resso. In 1967 the family moved to Orangevale, California, followed by a move to Dayton, Ohio in 1972. Three years later Jerry and his parents moved back to Orangevale where he graduated from Bella Vista High School in 1978. After graduation Jerry moved to Sandpoint, Idaho, where he met and married Kelly Rasmussen in November, 1978. They welcomed their son, David Lee Resso, in March 1981. Jerry was very proud to be the first of his siblings to give his parents their first grandchild. Jerry and Kelly were later divorced.

Jerry worked various jobs in the Sandpoint area. He was most notably known for his gifted talent as a carpenter/wood worker. He produced many beautiful pieces of furniture and structures. Jerry also loved working on his landscape, spending many hours mowing and maintaining his lawn.

He is survived by his son, David (Sarah) Resso of Sandpoint, ID, sister Debra Frank of Sagle, ID, sister-in-law Karen Resso of Sagle, ID. Grandchildren Libby and Carson Resso of Sandpoint, ID, aunt Hilda Resso of Murray Nebraska, aunt Dean Hart of Elba, Alabama and uncle Pete Lowe of Red Level, Alabama, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lluese and his brother, Steve.
