In Loving Memory Of Joan Louise Woller July 5th, 1935 – April 26th, 2022 “So when tomorrow starts without me don’t think we’re far apart, For every time you think of me I’m right here in your heart” -David M. Romano Joan Woller passed away peacefully in her home in Ponderay, Idaho. She was proceeded in death by her mother, Allien Mertz (Abbott), her father Jack Mertz, her brother Jack Mertz, and her husband Lloyd (Wally) Woller. She was the Mother to Marc Woller and his wife Judy, to Scott Woller and his wife Heather, Grandmother to Jeremy, Steven, Jack, Lauryn, and Sam, and Great-Grandmother to Jackson, Maddie, Wyatt, and Ellie. Joan was born in Chicago, Illinois, lived for several years in both Southern and Northern California, and later resided in Ponderay, Idaho where she spent the rest of her life. She spent many years giving to others and volunteering with organizations such as Campfire Girls, 4-H, the Bonner County Food Bank, Better Together Animal Alliance Animal Shelter, Sanctuary Seconds Thrift Store, Lost in the 50’s, The Festival at Sandpoint, and Christmas gift wrapping at Life Care Center of Sandpoint. She also enjoyed animals and spending time with friends and family. She was a powerful person. She had the ability to light up a room and make the outside world disappear. She always had a way of making other people’s dreams her own. She would make them come true. She had a beautiful and forgiving personality. No matter how bad you messed up, she was still there to catch you. She loved everyone unconditionally. There are no right words to describe her, she was an angel with a gentle soul. Life was “more better” with her in it. She will be deeply missed and forever loved. Her spirit is still wild and roaming. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at the Pack River Cemetery, 7710 Colburn Culver Rd., Sandpoint Idaho, 83864 Memorial donations may be made to the Animal Shelter of your choice where you live in Joan's honor.
