Judith "Judy" Carol Fryberg

Judith Carol (Judy) Galloway Fryberg passed away on March 24, 2022, at her home in Laclede, Idaho surrounded by her family. Judy was born on November 27, 1944 at Kellogg, Idaho and was raised in Kingston. She married Larry Fryberg in 1965 in Pinehurst, Idaho. Judy has been a resident of Laclede, Idaho for over 45 years. She had a love for children and went into education teaching school first in Rose Lake and St. Maries, and then went on to teach at both Idaho Hill and Priest River elementary schools after moving to Laclede. Judy enjoyed the great outdoors with many activities including, RV traveling, Snowmobiling, Skiing, Camping, Motor Bike riding, Canoeing, and Land sailing. One of her favorite things to do was going and watching her grandsons play their video games and fishing at the Laclede Ferry with them. She also loved her dogs and grand dogs Joe, Tara, Angie, and Scout and took them for many walks. She was very generous and caring and always looked out for her daughter and grandsons so that they felt loved and cared for. She was truly the best mom and grandma and we loved her just as much as she loved us. Judy is survived by daughter Ruth and Ron Crea, Grandsons, Sean and Cameron Crea all from Spokane, Washington; Dorothy (Aunt Dorie) and Cousin, Marjorie Clark from Kalispell, Montana; John (Uncle Jack) Feid Galloway from Olympia, Washington; Cousin, Gregory Galloway, (Aunt Amelia) Thomas, Cousin, John Thomas, Laughlin from Nevada; Kathryn Thomas Solum from Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho; (Aunt Edith) Roberts Jasberg, Cousins, Stephen Roberts from Post Falls, Idaho; Cheryl Kosanke, Osburn from Idaho; Cathy Roberts Wilson from Kellogg, Idaho; Cousins Gail Nearing from Kingston, Idaho and Karen Dupuis from Pinehurst, Idaho. Nieces and Nephews, Terri Redmond and Tom Figueroa from Las Vegas, Nevada; Kim Harrington from Post Falls Idaho; Connie Bonomi from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; Danny Figueroa from Pinehurst, Idaho; Vicky Findley from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; and Neighbors and Friends who will all miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence W. (Larry) Fryberg in 2008 and her father and mother, William G. (Bill) Galloway 1997, Clara Wallace Galloway 1985, along with her brother William E. (Billy) 2020. Interment will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Sandpoint, Idaho. There will be a Memorial service conducted at 1:00 at the Laclede Community Center at 24 Moore Loop Road on Sunday, April 24, 2022 with a luncheon following.
