Katherine Ann Kaiser

Katherine Ann “Kate” Kaiser, 85, died at her home in Sagle, Idaho on May 3, 2019.

She was born on March 17, 1934 in Oakland, California. She lived most of her childhood in Portland, Oregon, but later returned to Piedmont, California where she finished high school. She attended Armstrong Business College.

Kate married William C. Kaiser, a California state park ranger, on July 13, 1953. The couple lived in various state parks in California while raising their two children.

Kate’s passions were her family and quilting. She made many exquisite quilts that won awards at the Bonner County Fair. Also, she loved anything Swedish and collected angels.

Kate is predeceased by Bill, her husband of 65 years. She is survived by her two children, Jeannine Collins of Colorado and Kurt Kaiser of California.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
