Kathleen Kay Johnson, 69, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 in Sandpoint, Idaho.

 

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 3, 2017 at New Song Bible Church in Sagle, Idaho with Pastor Barry Johnson officiating.  Visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday, January 2, 2017 at Coffelt’s Funeral Chapel from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.  Interment will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park.

 

Kathy was on May 3, 1948 in Sandpoint, Idaho the daughter of Marvin and Alberta Johnson.  She would attend local school in the Sandpoint area.

 

Kathy lived in Sandpoint for her entire life.  She loved her family and her nieces and nephews were the highlights of her life.  She loved finding the perfect presents for her family for their birthdays and Christmas.  She always knew people’s birthdays without ever writing them down.  When she was five years old she learned about horses and loved to ride them.

 

Kathy is survived by her sister Lois Chapin of Cocolalla, Idaho, her sister-in-law Vicki Johnson of Cocolalla, Idaho along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents Marvin and Alberta and her brother Leland Johnson.

 

The family suggests that memorials may be made to New Song Bible Church in Sagle, Idaho.
