Lillian Ruth (Asher) Johnson

Lillian “Ruth” Asher (Johnson), 92, passed away on May 25^th, 2018 at her home on Lakeshore Drive.  Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday June 23^rd, 2018 at Pinecrest Cemetery.

Ruth was born on August 6^th, 1925 in Hyden, Kentucky, the daughter of Elmer E. Sizemore and Ota Sizemore.  Ruth Graduated from Leslie County High School In 1942.

Ruth married Leo R. Johnson on August 31^st, 1943.  Leo retired from the U.S. Air Force on December 31^st, 1964.  The following June Leo, Ruth and their four children: Leo ll, Judy, John and Mark moved to Sandpoint.

Ruth’s husband, Leo passed away on October 26^th, 1996 In 1998 Ruth married Robert Asher.  They were divorced in 2007.

Ruth was a generous, caring wife and mother who loved and enjoyed her family. 

Ruth is survived by children,  Leo R Johnson ll (Spokane, Wa.), Mark A. Johnson (Sandpoint, ID), Judith A. Johnson (Talent, OR),  eight grandchildren, Brian Johnson (Seattle, WA), Matthew Johnson ( Hollywood, FL) Scott Johnson (Spokane, Wa), Dustin Monda ( Ashland, OR), Jeremy Johnson (Boise, ID), Christopher Johnson ( White Salmon, Wa), Michael Johnson ( Sandpoint, ID), and Lindsey Monda (Talent,OR).  As well as great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and her beloved dachshund, Max.

Ruth was proceeded in death by her parents, husband Leo, husband Robert and son John E. Johnson.
