Linda Marie Collison

February 4, 1948 — August 25, 2018

Linda Collison passed away on August 25, 2018, after quite a battle with COPD and cancer. She was born Feb 4, 1948, to Robert and Odessa Banka. Linda grew up and went to school in Sandpoint, Idaho, where in eighth grade she spied her shining knight. That was a young man named Ron Collison who would become her boyfriend, husband, and soulmate for life. Together they would have a son, Monty, and a daughter, Robin.

Linda worked 27 years for an awesome man, John Porter and his wife Sue. It was her “Super Drug Family” and her co-workers who became her good friends.

Through the years Ron and Linda enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, card games, stock car racing (which included their son for five years), and loved riding motorcycle on outings and short trips.

Linda is survived by her son, Monty (Bill Roland) of Spokane Valley, WA; her daughter, Robin (Brian) Clark and her three beautiful granddaughters, Kennedy, Brooklyn, and Danika of Liberty Lake, WA; her sisters, Marion Strandy of Spokane, WA; Judy Lucas, Sandpoint, ID; and Kay (Coy) Kratz of Junction City, OR; her brothers Ed (Wilma) Banka of Las Vegas, NV; and Ron (Debi) Banka of Spokane Valley, WA; a sister-in-law Connie (Collison) Clark of Sacramento, CA; and brother-in-law Jack (Kris) Collison of Cornelius, OR.

Graveside services will be held at Pine Crest Cemetery on Saturday, September 1st at 11 am, with Dale Coffelt officiating.
