Marian Heath Ruyle

Marian Heath Ruyle passed away in her home with family on Tuesday February 19, 2019.  She is survived by Heather, Chad, Jesse, Aicia and Zach Tompkins.  Francie Krebs and Jennifer and Bret Robinson.

Marian was born on July 8, 1920 in Elk River, Idaho. She later went to college at the University of Idaho which she graduated in 1942 to become the amazing teacher you all remember.

She married her husband Arthur Ruyle on July 5, 1945 in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.  She began teaching on September 30, 1949 at the Sandpoint High School.  Arthur and Marian soon after opened the first jewelry store in Sandpoint on August 27, 1957.  Her talents and dedication as an educator and her music touched hundreds of you people for many decades.

There will be funeral services held on March 2^nd at 1:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church.  Please come and say goodbye to a legend.
