Mary Dorothy Lamphere

Mary Dorothy Lamphere, 89, passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2018 in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.

Private family services will be held at a later date.  Inurnment will take place in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mary was born on September 19, 1928 in Swiftcurrent, Saskatchewan, Canada, the last-born child of Harry and Ann Lamphere.  She graduated from Venice High School in Venice, California in 1960.

She moved to the Sandpoint area in the early 1990’s where she became a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.  Mary enjoyed gardening, ceramics and hunting and fishing in both Idaho and Alaska.

Mary is survived by her son Michael (John); four grandchildren Michelle, Katrina, Bryan and Jennifer; eight great grandchildren Nickolas, Logan, Adam, Kendell, Joshua, Ava, Darren and Isabella.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Frank, John and Harry and sisters Ruth and Pat.

Although she had a very hard time always showing it Mary deeply loved her family.
