November 26, 1947 - November 24, 2021

On the afternoon of November 24th, 2021, my sister, loving mother, wife, grandma, aunt, and friend, left this world peacefully, and returned to the loving arms of her heavenly father. She was also reunited with her son Ryan, and her parents. What a glorious reunion this must have been.

Pat was born in Ogden Utah, and attended Ogden City Schools. She graduated from Ogden High, and that same summer married her high school sweetheart Vern Allen. Very soon after that, they started their family. They were blessed with 6 very busy boys, who gave then a "run for their money." Pat and Vern moved quite a bit over the years, but finally found their heaven on earth in Cocolalla, Idaho. All her boys would eventually end up in that area. Pat was an amazing mother, and loved her family fiercely. She looked forward every year to "girls weekend". Despite a couple of very serious car accidents, that left her in quite a bit of pain, she always had a smile for you. She never complained, and always had your back. She loved fishing, four wheeling, being with family, and was an amazing card maker. She was always game to try something new. Later in life she started taking piano lessons and absolutely loved it. She loved the holidays, and went "all out" at Christmas time. To say she has left a huge hole in our hearts is an understatement. She will be missed immensely. Pat was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints, and held many callings.

After the crash that killed her son Ryan, she and Vern were very involved with the Northern Idaho DUI Coalition in educating and helping those individuals in the program understand the repercussions of drinking and driving. Their impact was profound.

Pat leaves behind quite a posterity. She is survived by her husband Vern of 55 years, her boys, Troy, Post Falls ID, Trent (Christine) Green Acres WA, Bret (Michele) Kellogg, ID, Jason (April) Post falls, and Jared, Post Falls ID. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, her sister Lisa (Dave) and her very special dog “Angel”. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents Harry and Bette Steers, Sheldon Doman, her son Ryan, and her brother Mike Doman.

Services will be held on Saturday Dec 4th. Viewing at 10:00 - 11:00, Memorial will start at 11:15 at the Westmond Ward House, 331 Westmond Rd. Westmond Id.
