Patsy Rosbury Zimmerman, a loving wife and mother, of Queen Valley, Arizona, passed away on January 12, 2021. She was 73 and born in Greer, South Carolina on January 03, 1948.
Patsy served in the United States Army and was ranked as SP-5 Army-Ra-Wac. She was a clerical typist and prepared files for criminal processing, she served for 5 years and was honorably discharged after marrying, John L. Rosbury.
Later in life she accomplished a BA in Early Childhood Education and had several of her poems published.
For many years, she was an active member of the church and consistently served the community through her participation. She always extended herself to those less fortunate even during her own challenging times in life. Her warm personality, extreme gentle kindness and big smile made anyone around her feel comfortable. Her God-Given gift was the ability to make anything look beautiful and to make anywhere feel like home. Patsy was tenacious, full of life, selfless and had a passion for God, country music, birds, flowers, nature and children.
She had two biological children with her first husband, John L. Rosbury, deceased. Joseph A. Rosbury and Patricia R. Gibboni. She also had “A Little John” that she helped raise and saw as her own. Two Biological grandchildren, Hunter A. Rosbury and Savannah B. Rosbury.
David L. Ooley, deceased, her second husband, whom she described as the magical love of her life, was never forgotten. They were married for 23 years and together for 28 years. Stepdaughter, Kristen Ooley and grandson, Cole Foreman were also her family.
Patsy is survived by her third husband, George Zimmerman, whom she spent the final part of her golden years. She enjoyed traveling, gardening with her husband, visiting her grandchildren and relaxing in her beautiful homes in Sandpoint, ID, Warner Robins, GA and Queen Valley, Arizona.
Many Stepchildren not listed and grandchildren all of whom she absolutely loved and adored.
Private family services were have been held in Coffelt’s Funeral Chapel with Dale G. Coffelt Officiating. Interment took place in Pack River Cemetery.
To say the least….
Her spirit will be remembered as forever having changed the world with tenacity, vision, beauty, kindness, and Love….
