Ronald Lee Seay, 82, passed away in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho on Monday, August 24, 2020.
Family services, and a celebration of his life, will be held at a later date.
Ron was born March 10, 1938 in Mount Vernon, Washington, the son of Etella and Howard Seay. He attended Bothell High School and shortly after joined the US Navy in March of 1957. While in the Navy he served in Vietnam, retiring fully from his military obligation in 1977.
Ron enjoyed the outdoors, a country boy at heart. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. One of his greatest interests was sports. He was a member of the American Legion and gave of his time to the Senior Center in Clark Fork, delivering meals to home bound seniors.
A generous, and kind, person full of character, Ron made many friends throughout his journey.
He is survived by his wife Judy Seay of Hope, his son Scott (and Annette) Seay of Deer Park, his brother William Seay of Hope, two sisters Eloise Felkins of Lynwood, WA; and Patsy Taylor of Raleigh, North Carolina; six grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving are four step children Rachel Hatfield of Spokane, Corey Edwards of Spokane, Cassandra Dalton of Post Falls and Cody Edwards of Spokane.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Rhonda Seay and his brother Jack Seay.
