Roylene Gale Christy

Roylene Gale Christy passed away on June 24^th, 2018 surrounded by family at her home in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Roylene was the daughter of Roy and Mildred Frazer. She born July 21^st 1941 in Santa Monica, California.  Roylene grew up and attended local schools in Clovis, California.  She married James Christy on September 21^st, 1958 in Clovis, California.   Roylene and James moved to Fallon, Nevada for several years be for retuning to California.  They retired to Sandpoint, Idaho in the 1970’s.  Roylene and James were married for 58 years until James’s passing.

Roylene trained horses for years and had a great love for animals.  She was a creative person who enjoyed painting and sculpting, usually in western themes. 

Roylene is survived by her children; James Christy Jr. (Sagle, ID) and Jeannie Christy-Vest (Sandpoint, ID). Seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
