Steven Gene Ribail

Steven Gene Ribail, 65, passed away in LaGrande, Oregon on July 8, 2021.  Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Monday, July 26^th, in Pinecrest Memorial Park.  Dale Coffelt will be officiating.

Steven was born on November 10, 1955 in Burns, Oregon.  He attended grade school in Athena, Oregon.   He later moved to the Sandpoint area and graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1974.  He had worked in the potato fields and for the Forest Service in Oregon.  He later moved to Elgin, Oregon working as a press operator in the local sawmill.

He enjoyed his annual Elk hunting trips, with family and friends, and had shot several bull elk.  He was a gun collector and reloaded his own ammunition.  He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle on road trips.

Steven is survived by his brother Kelly and his sister Crystal.  He was preceded in death by his parents Ernie and Betty Ribail.
