Thomas "TC" Brown, Jr.

Thomas “TC” Brown Jr, 84, passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, in Sandpoint. 

Funeral services, with military honors, will on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at 11:00am, in Coffelt’s Funeral Chapel.   Dale Coffelt will be officiating, with burial in the Westmond Cemetery.

Tom was born on March 29, 1937 in San Angelo, Texas, attended local schools and graduated from the Robert Lee Texas High School in 1955.  He joined the US Air Force in 1956, serving for 23 years, retiring as a Master Sergeant.  He served as an “inflight refueler”, fueling fighter jets in midair.   During his military service he lived in England for 2 years, and in Guam for 4 years.  He retired in 1980 and moved to the Sagle area.

He married Julia Ford on March 15, 2012 in Sandpoint, Idaho

He was a lifetime member of the American Legion, the V.F.W. and the “inflight refuelers association”.    He was also a member of the Eagles Lodge, in Hayden, Aerie #480.   He enjoyed needle point, his yard and building “things”.  At one time he took two years to complete a special doll house. 

He is survived by his wife, Julia Brown, in Sagle; also surviving are 4 children Kevin L. Brown, Cecelia S. Brown, Christopher P. Brown, and Thomas E. Brown.  Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, step children, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
