WAYNE ALBERT BOMBA

(77)

We say goodbye to a longtime resident of Sandpoint. He passed away peacefully in his home on March 12, 2021.

Wayne was born on 7/8/1943 to Albert and Irene Bomba in Junction City, Kansas. He enjoyed fixing all kinds of things with his hands and did some woodworking along the way also.  He was an avid reader and sometimes, before he knew it ,the whole day was lost in a good book. He enjoyed being a bee keeper for some time and enjoyed the peace and quiet that came along with tending the family's bee farm. He liked to do some hunting when he had the spare time and putter around the family property .

He was a collector of cars, boats, motorhomes and actually anything else that he took a liking to. I am sure if you ever went to visit him, you all saw it firsthand.  Wayne was a true salesman through and through and he very much enjoyed the “back and forth” until a deal was made.  DEAL!.....sign here….

He could be quite the Charmer. He was a long time member of Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church and  worked there for many years. He was a member of The Knights Of Columbus and had many stories of the different things they all did together.

Wayne leaves behind his sister Linda Gillette, along with Caretaker and Friend Burt Horton. He is survived by his children Kirby ,David and Donna and first wife Dixie.  Step children Kermit , Misty, Jason, Chris and Sonya. He was preceded in death by his second wife Paulette and third wife Sandra and his step son Chris Zalusky.
